Immediate Coverage
At SEH America, there is no waiting period for medical coverage. In fact,
employees are provided with medical, life, and long-term disability insurance from their
first day of employment until the time at which their full flex benefit plan takes effect.
SEH America pays 100% of the premium for the new hire plan.
Full Flex Benefit Program
Currently, our pretax, full, flexible benefit plan includes
the choice of two HMOs and two indemnity plans. We also offer two
dental plans, a vision service plan, life insurance, long term disability
insurance, accidental death and disability
insurance, and dependent life insurance. In addition, we have pretax health
care and dependent care reimbursement accounts.
Outstanding Retirement Plans
SEH offers both a 401(k) plan and a pension plan. Employees can allocate
up to 20% of pre-tax earnings and choose from a variety of different investment funds. SEH America
also makes a contribution to all employees 401(k) plans in addition to matching a portion
of the employees savings. Any changes to the employees savings plan, loan
requests, or general information can be obtained through the internet
and/or a 24-hour interactive voice
response system.
SEH America also offers a traditional pension plan. The plan provides a
monthly income at retirement to vested employees with death benefits for the
employees spouse if the employee has selected that as a benefit. Employees do not
make contributions to this plan, it is paid for entirely by SEH America.
Quality Child Care Program
Our child care program accepts children between the ages of six weeks and
12 years. SEH-A subsidizes employees fees for children enrolled at any of the 14
child care centers operated by the Southwest Washington Child Care Consortium. The Image
site, located adjacent to SEH America, offers expanded operating hours to accommodate
employees working 12-hour shifts.
Life Events Benefit Coverage / Confidential
Employee Counseling
SEH recognizes that employees life events can adversely affect their
job performance, and that a trained employee is a valuable asset to be protected. Our
partnership with Working Solutions, Inc.
provides Life Events Benefit Coverage for our employees and their family. This service
offers employees resources and assistance to find the answers to their questions and
problems.
Working Solutions offers SEH-A employees and their family members an
Employee Assistance Program, Child/Family services, Adult/Elder services, Legal/Financial
Plus services, and an Information Line. The Working Solutions phone lines are open
24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Use of this program is confidential and at no cost to
employees as it is entirely funded and supported by SEH America.
Total Compensation Value
The total value of your compensation package depends on which benefits you
choose. Your indirect compensation can amount to around 25% or more of your total
compensation package depending on your choice of benefit coverage.
