DI Water Facilities Process Engineer

SEH America is a growing global wafer manufacturer on the cutting edge of silicon technology. We are looking for an experienced De-ionized Water Facilities / Process Engineer to be a key member of our team as we expand our Vancouver, WA, plant to include the latest wafer technology.

As a DI Water Process Engineer in our facilities group, the ideal candidate will have experience and a concrete knowledge of semiconductor water filtration and water purification systems. In addition this candidate will perform in the following areas;

• Upgrade of current systems, as well as new design for planned expansion.
• Responsible for installation and maintenance of equipment, supplies and systems.
• Upgrade process design by investigating proposed changes in plant operations.
• Prepares DI water process design by studying operability and reliability; estimating maintenance, operating, and energy costs; assessing safety and environmental compliance; specifying start-up and operating procedures.
• Interface in other facilities engineering groups such as waste water, chemical and gas to maintain complete process effectiveness.
• Interface with facilities operations and facilities maintenance groups on a daily basis.

This person must have outstanding communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage and effectively work multiple projects concurrently with a wide variety of consultants and personalities. Must be willing to work in an individual contributor role and work well within a team environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in similar Process/Facilities Engineering role.
• Semiconductor or related large plant/ high-tech, clean room environment experience ideal.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
