MACHINE OPERATOR

SEH America is growing global wafer manufacturer who is on the cutting edge of silicon technology.
We are looking for Machine Operators to be a key member of our team as we grow and expand our
Vancouver, WA. plant to include the latest 300mm wafer technology.
SUMMARY
Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi automatic machines used in the production of
silicon wafers. Works from product specifications or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor
to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Demonstrates high level of competence in minimum 1 skill/process.
- Understands/follows product specs, SOPs/SOCs, control charts, and other documentation related to assigned process.
- Ready to operate machine. Understands and applies basic SPC concepts. Uses SPC methods to identify process issues and implement routine process corrections.
- Understands all safety regulations.
- Participates in team safety activities. Executes emergency response efficiently. LOTO certified.
- Knowledge of basic safety, including MSDS of the process. Fully understands the danger points in the process.
- Understands basic maintenance processes of assigned equipment. Knows process for handling equipment issues through team and maintenance resources.
- Acts as a full team member; provides information and data needed for group decisions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Related work experience in a silicon or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- High School Diploma
