Sr. HR Specialist
SEH America is a growing global wafer manufacturer located in Vancouver, WA. We are looking for a
senior level HR professional to act in a lead role within the HR Department. Primary functions will
be in the area of employee relations, compensation, and recruitment. Knowledge is also needed in the
areas of HRIS, benefits, and training. It will be a key advisory role to internal customers and executive
groups. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of HR practices within a manufacturing
environment. Position will report to the Director of Human Resources.
Responsibilities include:
- Advise, guide and partner with all levels of management in coaching and counseling employees on complex and sensitive issues.
- Participate in strategic planning of HR initiatives and assume responsibility for multiple HR projects.
- Develop and update SEH America’s employment policies and procedures. Ensure the effective communication and understanding of these employment topics.
- Facilitate employee performance evaluation and recognition programs.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data and make recommendations to management for corrective action and continuous improvement.
- Create and analyze a variety of HR reports in order to present data and make recommendations to management and other HR team members.
- Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation. Advise management on adherence to requirements and compliance.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of well rounded HR experience with a strong background in employee relations, compensation, and employment.
- Semiconductor or related large plant/ high-tech experience ideal.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business or similar related program.
